Allure: You’re 22, so you weren’t even alive during the ABBA invasion. Do you like the music?
Amanda: ABBA has some manipulative melodies; I’ve got to say, they’re hard not to enjoy.

Allure: Do your friends agree?
Amanda: I made my ex-boyfried come to Vegas to see [Mamma Mia!] before my first singing audition. He was kind of pissed that he had to watch a musical for two hours, but he looked over and said, “You’re going to get this.”

Allure: Your next film, Jennifer’s Body, is about “a possessed cheerleader with the urge to seduce and kill.” So, is this a documentary?
Amanda: Ha! I wish. It’s a comedy, but there are so many dark, dark moments. I play the possessed girl’s best friend, and I have to save the small town from her.

Allure: How do you kill a possessed cheerleader?
Amanda: It’s pretty hard.

Allure: Your Big Love character has serious doubts about plygamy. Do you have an opinion about it?
Amanda: It’s hard for me to understand. It’s kind of justified with our family on the show, but if I’m in love with somebody I would never be able to share him. Romantic love is so important that–oh, I don’t know.

Allure: Actually, it sounds like you do.
